Do you have an issue with birds nesting in your solar panels? Well, the good news is that you can put a stop to it right now! At GRD Gutter Cleaning Newcastle, we have the perfect solution if you need solar panel bird proofing in Kotara, Newcastle. The bird-proofing mesh we use is a black-coated wire, providing excellent longevity over plastic mesh alternatives. See this example that we recently installed below.
Getting solar panel bird proofing installed is a great way to protect your solar investment. As we move more and more into roof solar systems to offset our power bills and charge our EV’s, we can’t really afford to have them damaged by nesting birds. Mynah birds, sparrows, pigeons and swallows are often the main offenders when it comes to nesting around the home.
Preventing nesting birds also keeps out the nasty contaminants from your water tanks if you have those installed as well. So whether you have an existing solar panel system, or just had a new solar PV system installed, we highly recommend getting solar panel bird proofing installed in Kotara.
For existing systems, if required, we’ll remove any current nests and can clean your roof and solar panels before the mesh is installed. That way you can have a clean, fresh start!
